Reiki
Reiki is an ancient japanese technique that reduces stress, promotes relaxation and enhances the body's ability to heal itself. Using universal life energy and healing crystals we can help the body and mind relax so that healing can begin. This technique complements existing veterenarian care and has been known to help speed the healing process.
Reiki can help to reduce anxiety, increase focus to dogs in training, strengthen the bond between you and your pet or can be used before and after surgery to promote easier healing and much more.
Nestle's Story - One day as I was brushing Nestle, my black lab, I came across an unusual growth on her skin. I had her vet take a look at it. She decided to to aspirate the sight. After checking under the microscope we decided that the growth should be removed. That night I began giving Nestle Reiki with intention of shrinking the tumor and boosting her immune system. For 20 minutes every night I sat with her sending Reiki to the tumor and I continued the Reiki after the surgery helping her body to heal itself. During her recovery Nestle didn't need to use pain meds or antibiotics. In a week the site was healed and her fur was growing back! I truly believe in the power of Reiki for helping animals and this is why I want to teach others how to use this amazing energy.
REIKI Open Doors - Join us for a night of healing and relaxation the 1st Wednesday night of the month here at Woof & Whimsy from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Cost is $25 for a 20 minute Reiki session for you and your pet. Just stop by or e-mail info@woofandwhimsy.com to set up an appointment.
Animal REIKI for Practioners Workshop - Have you always wondered about giving animals Reiki and what it can do for them? Learn the benefits of giving Reiki to animals and how it can help the human/animal bond and our connection to Mother Earth. Cost for the workshop is $180 and includes an Animal Reiki Attunement, Animal Reiki Practitioner Certificate, detailed Animal Reiki manual and a healing crystal. Classes are offered on Wednesday nights 6pm-8pm at Woof & Whimsy and Tuesday nights at Heart of Reiki in Hanover. Special discounts for Vet Techs and Shelter Volunteers. REIKI I & II Classes - Become certified as a Reiki I and/or II practitioner. You will learn about and become attuned to Reiki and you will be able to use this wonderful healing tecnique on yourself, your family and others. Reiki I is $180 for a 2 week session. Reiki II is $220 for a 2 week seesion. Reiki I/II combined is $320 for a 4 week session. Classes include a Reiki Practioner Certificate, a manual and a set of chakra crystals.
